A Day in Central Park

May 1, 2011:  We went to Manhattan and met up with some of Bob's Bayview friends at the entrance to Central Park at 59th Street and Central Park South.  We walked around for a while, and then sat in Sheep Meadow for a while longer.  I'd forgotten all the crazy and wonderful things going on in Central Park.  Here are but a few of the things we saw:

Making like Lady Liberty

Making like a silver statue

 Making like a gold statue

A very young street entertainer

Flute Player

And aside from all the entertainment, there were thousands of people just out and about on a beautiful spring day!   They were doing all sorts of things...

Climbing on rocks ...

Standing around ...

Hanging with friends...

Having lunch and catching up ...

Reminiscing about the past ...

It was a very good day to be outside, enjoying the city sights and resources!

Using a little train time to catch a nap!
