May 2016: After losing our sweet Kirby in early May, our hearts were broken. After fifteen years of having him in our lives, the house felt empty and our hearts felt empty. We needed another cat!
Bob had been volunteering at the SPCA for a few months, and had some favorite cats that he felt were special. One of them was Amber, an older orange & white long-haired female.
I visited her at the SPCA a couple of times, and felt that she was a cat I could grow to love, so we started adoption proceedings.
On May 19th it became official! Amber had a new home with us!
She adjusted to her new home quickly and soon made it her own.
She has grown to trust us and love us as much as we love her!
