Colorado 2013: Day 1

June 2, 2013:   After a very late arrival last night, we checked into our room at Embassy Suites (great room!!), and got a few hours sleep before it was time to launch into Day 1.  After a great complimentry breakfast, and a longer-than-anticipated trip to Target, we made it over to Renee's around noon.   Ellen,  Mark, Baschen and Ezra were awaiting our arrival and we left immediately for Castle Rock to welcome Scott across the Finish Line from his 100-mile ride!!

When we returned to Denver, we stopped at Ellen's new house for a tour and snacks, then went to Renee's to change into our bathing suits before checking out the Community Pool and spending a couple of hours there, beating the 90-degree heat!

Our great first day continued back at Renee's with a barbecue family dinner.  We made an early night of it, to catch up on missed sleep.
